Mission Statement for Recover at the U

Recover at the U (RU) is a supportive and empowering environment for students who are seeking essential knowledge, skills, and relationships to achieve long-term recovery from substance use disorders, academic success, and improved quality of life. RU supports students through peer-to-peer support groups, meetings, and events, educational and community outreach, and referral services that are conducive to an individual’s recovery and educational development. RU is committed to partnering with diverse individuals, groups, organizations, and communities in contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of students at the University of Utah.
